The "Oram Torah V'Hessed" association was founded by a group of philanthropists. Its targets are to increase Torah learning within the Jewish nation (Am Yisroel), to help Avreichim and needy families, to build and manage Mikvahs for women and to support financially and mentally every person in need.

Encouraging the observance of the laws of family purity by building and renovating Mikvahs

In 2005 the members of Oram decided, in collaboration with the donors, to work on reinforcing the observance of the laws of family purity by renovating and building luxurious Mikvahs with high-end finishes which would attract all Jewish women and would make the Mikvah a place of spiritual and material regeneration. Moreover, the Mikvah attendants encourage women who are far from Judaism to keep the laws of family purity.

The founding group of philanthropists and Oram supporters have allocated Millions of Shekels (NISs) for this project and 100 Mikvahs throughout Israel have been renovated, extended and built. For the past two years, the association has been directly employing contractors and other professionals and has renovated 15 Mikvahs throughout the country with additional 5 being currently constructed and renovated.

Data received by the association's management indicates that the numbers of ladies attending the Mikvahs has increased in tens and even hundreds of per cents in Mikvahs renovated and built by Oram.
